GORGEOUS
The lake’s an expanse of frozen rows
Of purple ridges of wind-swept snow
Dancing ‘round the dunes in a waltzing flow
Of ballroom gowns in a sparkling, white glow
As we stand in awe, as our friendship grows.
And the morning moon seems to say: “I know!”
Now, as it greets me, through the window
With its bright and silvery, glistening glow,
And its pale-white, twin orb curtsies low,
Dancing as I sway my head to and fro.
I thank you, Lord, for an awesome show,
