Christmas Forest

A gorgeous forest:
Snow-laden branches,
Sparklingly lit
By the blue-sky sun;
Cheerful with chirping
And flitting chickadees;
Peacefully quiet,
Save the hushed rush
Of the constant rapids;
Glorious creation
Of our Saviour
This joyful day
Of Jesus' birth.
